I keep meaning to take my boys to the free workshops offered by Home Depot. This Saturday, they are doing a Valentine’s Day themed project that is perfect if you want to use it as a homemade gift for parents or grandparents.

Project: Valentine’s Day Keepsake Box
The Free Home Depot workshops are geared towards kids ages 5-12 and are offered the first Saturday of every month at all locations. Kids get to keep their craft and a FREE Kids Workshop Apron, commemorative pin and certificate of achievement.
If you have a cub scout in your house, these free workshops are a great way to check off the Wolf requirement 5e without having to make the trek to the scout store and fork out the cash for a birdhouse kit.
